Richard Jackson Ltd provided a Traffic Impact Assessment to support a Planning Application to extend the existing hotel.

The proposals were to extend the hotel by a further fifty bedrooms and the introduction of a two tier thirty-two bay driving range.

The facilities already included an 18 hole golf course and forty four room hotel. Through consultation and negotiation with Suffolk County Council, it was determined what the scope of works was required and the level of assessment.

Our Transport Impact Assessment prepared in accordance with IHT guidelines identified low traffic impact, however the authorities consider that the local network was at capacity.

Through extensive analysis of possible hard and soft mitigation measures to ensure the impact was immaterial both in the short term and long term through a Travel Plan, the Highways Authority approved the proposals.
