

The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) grade of Fellow is the highest grade of ICE membership and provides recognition for those who have made an outstanding contribution to the civil engineering profession and society. It is reserved for those who are a leader in their profession and who are engaged in a position of responsibility and management of important engineering work.
Richard (Rik) has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry having worked in the public sector before joining Richard Jackson Limited in 2000. He was promoted to the board in 2005 and led a management buyout of the Company in 2011.
Having achieved Chartered Engineer status in 1999, he has continued to progress his career and now has responsibility for leadership, strategic planning, business development, risk management and marketing whilst also maintaining an active role in the development of future engineers and technicians.
ICE Regional Director London, South East and East of England Katherine Etheridge said: “I am delighted that Richard has been appointed a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, our highest form of membership. To become a Fellow our members need to demonstrate that they have made a significant contribution to the profession and have taken a senior role within the industry.
