Flood Risk Assessment
Any site development proposal at risk of flooding needs a flood risk assessment. By using the most up to date 2D modelling techniques we can know what level water will reach, for how long and how fast it will recede. The Environment Agency now insist on this level of detail. Our extensive experience also allows us to propose economic, achievable and cost efficient surface water disposal solutions incorporating SUDS.
Transport Assessment
We produce transport assessments and statements to support Planning Applications in line with national and local standards. We have extensive experience of successfully dealing with even the most difficult site and when necessary are skilled in representing them at either Enquiry or Planning Appeal.
Travel Plans
Travel Plans for new developments are often required to support Planning Applications. We are able to guide our clients through this process and once agreement is reached assist them to monitor their travel performance or provide assistance to the Transport Co-ordinator to deal with the local authority team.
Foul Sewerage & Utilities Assessments
These reports are now required to support planning applications and are to show that the development can be supported by the local services and sewerage networks. We obtain records and liaise with water and service companies to obtain estimates of costs to supply new services or to divert existing apparatus. Our expertise allows us to assess the most practical methods to reduce the impact of existing services on proposed developments cutting costs and programmes.
Geotechnical
Richard Jackson Ltd Have a dedicated team of qualified geotechnical engineers that provide in-depth investigations for both Greenfield and Brownfield developments. Ensuring these meet current legislation and standards. We work closely with Local Authorities to agree the re-mediation process for contaminated sites.
